What is the Terminus Team doing for others?

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: “What are you doing for others?”” - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr .

Not only does the Terminus team get to print for some awesome nonprofits and charities, but we have some hands on experience helping others too - We have some rad philanthropists over here! Here are just a few examples of what the Terminus team is doing for others...

Hannah Garland (hannah@terminustees.com): Hannah is our service Jack of all trades! She has traveled to parks to feed the homeless with Food Not Bombs, built homes for the homeless through Habitat for Humanity, and helped care for homeless kitties and puppies at the Cherokee County Humane Society. We can’t forget that our furry friends need help too!

Alex Knight (alex@terminustees.com): In her free time, Alex does social media work for The Purple Balloon Project - raising awareness about domestic violence human trafficking, etc  This experience has really opened her eyes to how strong people can be during the most awful situations and made her a stronger person too! While at KSU, Alex ran STIV and brought the students of KSU together to share their stories with a clothesline project. Helping others is not always about providing material necessities - providing a voice for those who need to be heard is just as important!

Matt Mulkey (matt@terminustees.com): Every other summer Matt visits Haiti with his church to help out in the local community. They built a large patio used by churches and schools, providing a place for the community to come together and hangout, provided meals, built shelter for the communities widow/”grandmother”, built chicken coops, and spent time playing with kids and connecting with the locals. Inspired by an awesome young man there named Peter, Matt started a clothing line called Bearstone to help raise funds to continue helping the community in Haiti.

Ryan Cain (ryan@terminustees.com): Traveling overseas to help communities with extreme needs is incredibly important, but we can’t forget about our local community. Ryan is keeping it local by volunteering at Must Ministries, which addresses the basic needs of people in the Georgia, Cobb and Cherokee counties.  He has worked with them packing school supplies for kids who can’t afford them. He also said he opens doors for people, too - Hey, the little things matter!

Garret Snyder (garret@terminustees.com):  With the idea of using his resources here at Terminus Tees, Garret started PosiTees, a clothing line where all proceeds from products go back into the local Atlanta community. They launch designs throughout the year, but also campaigns which focus on raising funds for a specific cause. Last winter they released the “Hope” campaign with the goal of keeping the homeless warm. They were able to hand out over 500 items of clothing through donated clothes and clothing purchased from website sites with proceeds from the “Hope” line. Check out www.PosiTees.com to see their new campaigns and awesome apparel.
